Does Lakeview Counseling accept insurance?

Insurance-based counseling appointments may be available with Keenan Crowley through participating practice arrangements. Plans currently available for eligibility review include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield/Florida Blue, Cigna/Evernorth, and Meritain Health. Coverage and appointment availability depend on your specific plan and the applicable provider arrangements. Private-pay counseling is also available through Lakeview Counseling & Consulting.

How much do sessions cost?

Individual sessions are $150 for 50 minutes. Couples counseling is $175 for 90 minutes. An initial assessment is $165 for 90 minutes. A free 15-minute consultation is available to discuss services and fees before scheduling. Family counseling sessions are $150 for 60 minutes.

Can I pay privately instead of using insurance?

Yes. Private-pay counseling is available through Lakeview Counseling & Consulting. Individual sessions are $150, couples sessions are $175, family sessions are $150, and initial assessments are $165. A superbill may be available upon request for private-pay clients who wish to seek possible out-of-network reimbursement from their insurer. Reimbursement is not guaranteed.

What is a superbill?

A superbill is an itemized document that includes session details, diagnosis codes, and billing information. Private-pay clients may submit it to their insurance company to request reimbursement for out-of-network services. Whether your insurer reimburses you — and how much — depends entirely on your individual plan. A superbill does not guarantee reimbursement.

Where are sessions currently available?

In-person counseling is currently available in Orlando and Longwood, Florida. Telehealth is available throughout Florida. A Maitland office opens January 1, 2027.

What does Christian counseling mean at Lakeview?

Christian counseling at Lakeview integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with a faith-informed perspective. Sessions may draw on biblical principles, prayer, and spiritual reflection — but only when the client welcomes that approach. Faith integration is always client-led, never assumed.

Do I have to be Christian to receive counseling?

Not at all. Lakeview welcomes clients of all backgrounds, beliefs, and faith traditions. Faith-based approaches are available for those who want them, but counseling is equally effective and available without any spiritual component.

Yes. Keenan Crowley has a particular focus on men's counseling, including anxiety, stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions. Many men find it easier to open up in a space designed with their experience in mind.

Yes. Telehealth counseling is available to eligible clients located throughout Florida. Sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. In-person counseling is available in Orlando and Longwood.

The first session is an intake appointment. Keenan will ask about your background, current concerns, and goals for counseling. It's a collaborative conversation — not an interrogation. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what counseling might look like for you.

How long does counseling take?

The length of counseling varies depending on your goals, the concerns you're working through, and your progress. Some clients find meaningful relief in a few months; others benefit from longer-term support. You and Keenan will discuss this together as you go.

Lakeview Counseling has two in-person locations: 600 East Colonial Drive, Suite 220, Orlando, FL 32803, and 365 Wekiva Springs Road, Suite 231, Longwood, FL 32779. Telehealth is available throughout Florida. A Maitland location is planned to open January 1, 2027.

Is what I share confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of the counseling relationship. There are limited legal exceptions — such as imminent risk of harm to yourself or others — which Keenan will explain during your first session. Outside of those exceptions, what you share stays between you and your counselor.
